The caregiver's thoughts

...time lingered,
 hours whirled the days into nothingness,
the minutes of night drag
and then sleep sweeps them past

 that which was slow
had quickly disappeared.
and then again,
time lingered.

Patrick from Caregiving Yours directed me over to your journal. I've been reading some of your entries; I would imagine cultural shock from going from Southern California to a small town in Oklahoma would be overwhelming plus with the responsibilities you carry. I hope it cools down a bit for you; that alone would be staggering.

(as a side note, we did the reverse; we just moved from Montana back to Southern California; we have family down here and lived here the majority of our lives).

God bless you;

betty
