At the doctor's office this morning..........

Doctor Cooper:"I will meet you at the front desk".

(I wondered what was wrong.)

Doctor Cooper:"It is so evident that you love your husband a great deal."

Me:"I didn't know it showed."

Doctor Cooper:"It is so evident and so wonderful to see."

Wow did that make my day!

But now I am trying to figure out what he saw, what I did, since I didn't do anything different??????

The rest of the day was running around getting new batteries which was not the problem, but a bad charging unit........but we have fresh batteries and a charging unit on order and a chair that needs to run the batteries down because they are new and need to be run way down before they are recharged.....And the second doctor's appointment was cancelled and that made the rest of the less stressful..........YOU can only run so far!

Isn't it great to be acknowledged? ... and you apparently have an unusally wise doctor to notice what you do and how that matters.

That was a lovely thing for him to say and it really must be evident for him to notice.  You're doing a grand job. ~ duty makes us do things well, but love makes us do them beautifully ~ Rache.

I would bet just being yourself he could see your love for your husband; he probably has seen too many other couples where there is no love that you just acting normally and yourself he could tell the difference. What a nice compliment and glad he said something about it rather than keep it to himself.

glad the battery issue is getting worked out.

the love you and your husband have for each other is obvious to anyone who is around the two of you.  how wonderful to have a doctor notice tho'......being a caregiver is difficult enough that you rarely get the personal attention that makes you feel normal again and being in love and doing for your mate is 'normal'.  mickie
